WELCOME to my website of beautifully handcrafted wool handbags all of which are designed and created by me, Katherine MacColl, in a large sunny studio in western Massachusetts.

Here you will find shoulder bags, medium totes and large totes, and my version of the box bag!

During the first year of the pandemic...when I had a little extra time on my hands.... I taught myself how to dye wool fabric. The process rendered lovely pieces and the colors lifted my spirits. I've been doing it ever since. The multi-colored pieces went into making the box bags and the more recent single-colored pieces went into making the bags in my new series.
